Cafe Kafka in Barcelona

Café Kafka would be halfway between a literary cafe and a Saint Germain bistro.

They offer shelter and good food within a few meters from the Mercat del Born, to be a part of the bohemian and cultural, Mediterranean and vanguardist Barcelona of the XXI century.

Flooded by the sun during the day or wrapped in warm penumbra during the night, the cozy atmosphere of Café Kafka captivates with eclectic creativity and beauty. Respecting the original structure of a historic place, through our large glass windows you can see the modernist iron building of the Mercat del Born.
A Sputnik lamp of the 50s with multicolored sockets floating above the room, shelves full of literary classics, French rattan high chairs skirting a bar emphasized by a deployment of lamps and multicolored, ballooned carbon bulbs. Soft velvet in ocher, green and red upholsters vintage seats placed with studied disorder in the dining room and its perimeters. The space is full of objects recovered from the past with old stories to tell.

…a must in Barcelona!
